BOOKS

LET IT GO! by T.D. Jakes

A book about forgiveness in the hardest situations.

NO MORE SHEETS by Juanita Bynum (only available in e-book format)

However you feel about the things that happened with Dr. Bynum, none of it matters once you get into the meat of this book. Concerning relationships, sexuality and living a clean life- I have yet to find another book that says it as well as this.

THE BONDAGE BREAKER by Neil Anderson

I know we will get there at some point, but I am a strong believer in deliverance and it's important to know how the spiritual realm works. So if you have a strong stomach, or you find yourself facing evil, I want to recommend this one. The read along prayers are excellent and it forms a good basis for understanding why living life is such a struggle for some.

GROWING PAINS by John Loren & Paula Sandford

This is a wonderful read if you are looking to tackle issues like insecurity, anger, disappointment or emptiness. These beautiful people help you find the source and lovingly provide ways to begin healing, by God’s grace.

BREAKING FREE by Beth Moore (appropriate for group study)

Beth Moore takes on the basics of Christian living in her unique and passionate way. Be prepared to do a lot of work delving in the Bible!  This one can be hard to keep up with but is worth the wait.

ORGANIC MENTORING by Sue Edwards & Barbara Neumann

If you like the tone of this website and long to see sisters helping sisters in church, please invest in this book. These two beautiful ladies share the authentic journey they have been on to create genuine relationships across the generations.

THE DEEPEST WELL by Nadine Burke Harris, M.D.

This lady saved my life peeps… childhood trauma really can affect your health as an adult. Here she discusses how to heal the long-term effects of childhood adversity.

SOZO: Saved, Healed, Delivered by Dawna De Silva

This book is part of the Bethel church approach to inner healing and deliverance. IMHO, if you need real deliverance, this is not enough (although they will tell you that it is). The weakness of sozo is that it relies on the individual to tell you what God is saying. They say that the practitioner can discern lying spirits, but I have to say, this still ain’t sitting right with me, and I have been praying for people since 2006. That being said, the process of sozo is beautiful. When people who are genuinely living for Christ engage in it, they experience intimacy with Christ in a new way. Worth the read, but take it with a grain of salt.

WEBSITES

BAGGAGE RECLAIM, NATALIE LUE:  https://www.baggagereclaim.co.uk/

This is one of my favourite websites, especially for my dear sisters who are stuck in bad relationships or freshly broken up. It isn't a Christian site, but it is the most honesty and tough love you will ever get from a stranger. Enjoy it and reshare!

Above & Beyond Counselling: https://aandbcounseling.com/

If you like my website, you will love this one! Above and Beyond handles deliverance and inner healing for Christians in the most delicate, loving way. It is 100% reliable, without the screaming you may have experienced in other place (yes I went there!) You can even do deliverance online with them. Please check them out!

ACES Childhood Trauma: https://www.cdc.gov/violenceprevention/acestudy/index.html

Everything you need to know about adverse experiences in childhood trauma. I believe this is the source of a lot of our societal pain, and that so much good can come from doing that hard inner work and then allowing the light of God to heal you.

Good Morning Girls Free Bible Study Resources: https://womenlivingwell.org/category/good-morning-girls/

These beautiful ladies have monthly Bible studies that you can do with a small group, a group online or by yourself. I met two really great people in the process of doing these.
